The Scotswood Aggros and the Throckley Mob

The Scotswood Aggros were a prominent skinhead group in Newcastle in the 1970s. Across the North East various different groups and sub-cultures established themselves in different areas and towns. Violence between groups was regular, fuelled by lack of opportunity, economic decline and social division. This short film from 1971 gives a glimpse into the rivalries between the Scotswood Aggros and Throckley's own biker mob, the 'Throckley Hairies'.
